About this Project & Additional links
This project began thanks to an inspiration from the Powelton Village Civic Association, whose webmaster Doug Ewbank created a website that documents the history of each home in its historic district. Given the special nature of Llanerch as a cozy suburban neighborhood with many distinct, interesting, and unique houses, I wanted to do the same for the community I grew up in. This project's research and design was done between February 26th, 2025, and April 28th, 2025.
Additional links
Here are some additional links that one might find useful when exploring the history of Llanerch and Haverford Township. I used many of these links when creating the website and I want to give a special thank you to Keith Lockhart for letting me use a couple of his historic scanned photographs for my project. I would also like to thank all the members of the Haverford Township Historical Society who provided me with many resources that helped me research this project.
