Davis Road
Davis is a one-block road that runs Northwest-Southeast, and is parallel to Lansdown Avenue, Bewley Road, and the Llanerch part of Valley Road. It is intersected at its beginning by East Park Road, and at its end by Llandillo Road.
The Road was named for Morgan Davis at least as early as 1897. Davis was an early settler of Llanerch and held an estate located starting from where Llandillo Road is today to where Manoa Road is. The housing on his estate was located approximately where Chatham Park now stands, at 11 East Mercer Road. Davis lived in Havertown at least as early as 1870.
