Llanerch Crossing, located at the confluence of Darby Road and West Chester Pike, is getting a much-needed refresh. It is currently being restored by Jared Bader, who originally painted the mural nearly 2 decades ago. The mural has chipped away in some parts and is faded and less saturated due to exposure to the elements. A protective layer will be added to prevent such from happening again.
The park, enjoyed by many who both sit and drive by, has not received too much restorative attention beyond general maintenance. In addition to the faded mural, the infographics in the park are slashed, worn, and faded in some places, sometimes making it more difficult to read about the park's history.
