East Park Road
East Park Road is the both the longest road in Llanerch, as well as the only road in Llanerch that is both parallel and perpendicular to every other road, as it bends 90 degrees around the "100" stretch of the road. It intersects every road in Llanerch except for Llandillo Road. It is bordered on its western end by Darby Road and on its eastern end by Township Line. It is not to be confused with West Park Road, which is concurrent with the direction of East Park across from Darby, and contains house numbers 2 to 14.
It is the one of the two oldest-named road in Llanerch, being the only other road (besides Davis) present on the 1897 Atlas published by A.H. Mueller and Co. (plate 2).
The second half of Park Road (from around 200 onwards) was originally known as "Pembrey Road" up until the mid 1920s, as at the time, the road wasn't curved and they didn't connect in the same way they do today. It was named for the village of Pembrey in Carmarthenshire, Wales.
